Fact of the Day...

More than 13 million children in sub-Saharan Africa have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS. This is more than the total number of children under age 18 in Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland combined

That is shocking. And how many of these orphaned children are infected.

Might be silly question but would they all be infected or not?

no, they wouldn't ALL be infected...some of them will be born with AIDS but some of their parents will contract it after their child is born. SOmetimes they are lucky and won't get AIDS even if their mother is infected before she delivers.

Still, not great odds....
