Oh The Memories

A year ago, at this time, I was boarding a flight to Toronto to begin my 3 week adventure to Africa. I can't believe it has been a year already and I can't wait to go back!




These pictures are of the City of Maptuo, in Mozambique, where I spent the first 10 days. Lots of people have this idea of Africa of being the World Vision view, in that it is only desert plains and grass huts. Maputo is a major city and a hub of business activity.

    I can't believe it was a year ago either. I just remember all the scary stuff I heard as a parent, way far away. But I know the good times out weigh the scary. It's all the experience.

    Know what you mean! I was there 2 years ago RIGHT now getting ready for my friends wedding.

    Sometimes I spend ridiculous amounts of time looking at my pictures and wishing I was there again.
