Arms Up! Legs Up. Pull, Pull, PULL
This is what I was doing a year ago today. My cousin Bek decided she wanted to go skydiving a whole 3 weeks before her wedding. Crazy? perhaps but it was a blast! The best part was that her fiancee didn't know she was jumping out of a plane until she was on her way to get in the plane! I'll bet more than a few traffic laws were broken that day as he came to meet us but it was quite the reunion when she landed.
We jumped tandem, mostly because the bride was afraid of breaking her leg if we jumped solo. I don't think a cast would have been the worst thing...but I don't blame her. Besides, if you jump tandem, you get to jump from 10, 000 feet instead of a measly 3000 solo AND you get to free fall for about 35 seconds...which seems like eternity when you are plummeting towards your death. Our instructor was good...we had a great time...and a bit sore the next day from the harness and well, the stress on our bodies after jumping out of a plane.
Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.

How awesome, Crystal! I have never gone sky diving before, and I'm not sure I'd have the guts to do it. But I'm impressed you did! What an awesome memory and experience for you!
It was a fantastic day and I'm still a little sorry I didn't join in on the fun. Maybe next time I'll get up the nerve and jump with you!
I wish I had gotten my act together this year and done it. Oh well, I guess next summer.
It was a pretty awesome day. A little scary for me to watch, though. I like the romantic picture of you and your instructor.
