What's in A Name?
On the very wise advice of my parents, I think I might register my own business. I am doing transcription part-time for my former boss and if I register as a company, I can reap the benefits of an at-home business. I might be able to write off part of my rent, utilities, a new computer, car payments, etc. That sounds like a pretty sweet deal for only forking over 150 bucks to register my company.
But, I have to come up with a name and that is brutally hard!
I consider myself to be a somewhat creative person, however, in the naming of things department, I suck! Craig and I thought we were being uber-helpful when we tried to assist in naming a band and in hindsight, I don't think our ideas were very good. We came across the same problem when coming up with witty names for a bookstore. I could always use a numbered company, which might be the safest option but is dull, dull, dull. After all, transcription doesn't exactly lend itself to witty banter or funny puns or play on words or even something undorky. Transcription Schmanscription. It doesn't really roll off the tongue.
Any ideas?

How about "I Type Letters" or "Keyboard Queen" or "Crystal Ceyboarding Craziness".
I hope your typing skills are better than your fathers.
I personally enjoyed the spelling of flanges...it is phalanges. (I think)
My medical terminology mind is full of this stuff!
You should totally do this! Way to go! I'll design cards and stuff for you...they'll be spectacular!
As for a name, how about Between the Lines Transcription?
Wait! Carmen is telling me to start my own business???
AND she'll design me the cards?
(which I won't need because I won't actually be advertising but can pretend I'm cool!)
Hmmm......
You don't want my help with company names. Ask Craig.
I was trying to make craig call his company:
Tightie Whitie Drafting.
He didn't do it.
It's true.
I didn't use his very well thought out suggestions.
