Queen of Good Intentions
Sometimes I can't think of anything to post...so after reading some blogs that I faithfully check and enjoy, I've noticed that this group of people (whom I don't know personally) all have a specific post on a specific day. It's their 'thing'.
I have decided to steal their great idea. So on Mondays, I will post on a specific theme...If you know me, however, you know that I am the Queen of good intentions so this fad may not last long...but at least it will be fun for me for a few weeks.
Therefore, today, I bring you....
(drum roll please)
My top 5 list... Of songs! Yay!
This list is brought to you by the fact that I have resorted to singing songs in my head as there is no music playing in my cubicle. I don't even have speakers yet...and the lack of music/background noise is driving me bananas!
My 5 favourite songs, in no particular order besides #1. In fact, I may not post a #1, just so I can hear what YOU think it is...very few people know what my fav song is so this could be intersting...or completely boring if no one comments. Then I will be sad. :(
5. Beautiful by India Arie
4. Uninvited by Alanis
3. Feels Like Home by Chantal
2. Unloved by Jann Arden

it has to be something by the gaithers... Or maybe something really meaningfull that makes you cry every time you hear it and think of your Uncle? ( like it makes me cry every tme) LOL
How about a hint?
I don't think my dad would ever use LOL. Then again, I don't think my dad really knows how to use the internet...
Crystal - I have to say I love your 4 choices so far! I was listening to Jann's 'Unloved' song on the 'Greatest Hurts' album, and it was fantastic.
I think I'm going to go listen to it right now actually.
Hmmm...a hint you say?
It is sung by a man. It has a city in the title. It is not a current hit AND I have no idea why I love this song. You will all think I'm strange
And no, Dad, it isn't along the "Pour Out My Heart" or "It Is Well" route. I love these songs but for completely different reasons!
Walking in Memphis. That's my best guess!
That is quite the list. Glad to see Canadians so well represented. I think Chantal has a new CD coming out soon. Now for my guess.
This is tough, it's hard to be funny when you give those clues. I could make up a fake song title like:
'Saskatoon on my Mind' or 'Deluth-in You' or 'Paris is Ugly'.
I think Carmen's guess is the best one actually.
I'm guessing U2's Angel in Harlem...
Shara, one thing you much learn: Crystal would NEVER sing a U2 song. The two aren't on speaking terms
good to know...thanks, Craig...it was the only song that was in my head that fit her requirements. Crystal, when do we get to find out what #1 is??
hmmm...I didn't think that far ahead in my little game...maybe tomorrow?
